When Teddy stepped out of the fireplace, he was not prepared for what he was about to find in James' flat.

The hair on the back of his neck stood on end. He could hear the gasping moans and cries echoing through the room from the kitchen. Teddy should turn and leave. Written for @jeddyfest and inspired loosely on prompt #9: Ever since Teddy walked in on James having sex with his co-captain in the Potter's kitchen, Teddy hasn't been able to stop having unseemly thoughts about his Godbrother. What's worse, James has started to notice.

Why are there so many rando creepy weirdos popping up in season 2? Why do they have such weird facial expressions? Why does everyone look sexily constipated?

Imprinting is a phenomenon that only the werewolves experience. When a wolf imprints, it means he or she finds the one person in the world that they are bound to. Imprinting happens suddenly and randomly, it does not happen over a period of time. A werewolf could spot a random person in a crowd and instantly feel a strong attraction and bond for that person.

Werewolves have mates. They can bite and scratch each other while fighting and/or during sex without it meaning anything. But if a werewolf ‘marks’ the person they’re with- bites the juncture between the shoulder and neck- that marks them as a mate.

When the two wolves are about to mate, they bond, sleeping close and touching each other more and more. They will approach each other making quiet whining sounds, mouth each others muzzles, touch noses, and bump their bodies together. There may be mutual grooming and nibbling of each other's coats and the two may walk pressed close together. The male may bow to the female, toss and tilt his head, and lay his legs over her neck in what could only be described as a flirting manner. The two may even sleep side by side. After mating, pairs will continue to be affectionate. Although wolves often have long-lasting attachments to their mates, if one wolf dies, the widowed mate may breed with another wolf. In addition, some males may bond to different females in different years, destroying the long-held "mate for life" myth.

When a werewolf comes across their mate they can sense it. They feel an inexplicable urge to be near the individual. There is something compelling about the individual. They want to know everything about him or her. They want to spend time with the person. Inside, the werewolf will feel a sense of knowing they’ve found the right person, and they’ll no longer feel quite so alone. Everything will feel right, happy, and complete when they’re with their mate. It sounds so overly simplistic to just say that the werewolf will just “know” when they’ve found their mate…but it’s true.

Imprinting is about procreation.

The imprinting wolf belongs to the imprinted.

Where the imprintee's safety is not involved the imprinting wolf will give the imprintee whatever they want.

I just realized that Johnny Yong Bosch is the VA for like all my favorite angsty/slightly emo characters how did this even happen
