It was the night of the rave. They’d gone over the plan and Erica was just putting the finishing touches on her outfit and she spotted Isaac pacing. She went over to him with a smirk on her face. “Should I be offended that you seem to be so anxious about distracting Jackson with me? Dancing with me can’t be that big of a deal can it?”

         something had clearly been bothering the daughter of chris and victoria argent, something that had broke her heart. scott had told her that isaac had told him that he didn’t have anyone a while back. oh how wrong he was and the huntress was determined to change his opinion. despite their initial interactions, the two had grew closer. he became her emotional tether, someone whom she shared a deep connection with. and after everything that they had been through together, she loved him.

“You’re a sweetheart.”

Lydia made a soft noise, her eyes fluttering open at the poking. She blinked and Isaac’s face came into view, his words making her frown for a minute as her sleep addled brain tried to keep up. The last thing she remembered after their talk was putting on the Notebook. She glanced at the television and the movie was still on. 

The strawberry blonde looked back over at Isaac and she started to sit up while brushing her hair out of her face. “Sorry, I didn’t mean to fall asleep,” she said softly. She sent half a smile in his direction, “A blanket would be nice,” she replied before hesitating. “I don’t,” she said softly glancing down at her hands. “I don’t really sleep well when I’m alone.” Lydia admitted.

“Lydia!” Isaac’s yelling her name caused two people to run away and let the young girl’s body fall to the ground. “Lydia—hey are you okay?” he asked picking her off the floor and propping her against him.

It was a state of shock, and the adrenaline rushing through her veins. That was the only thing that made sense. Soon enough, that would fade, and she was certain she would be in agony. “Isaac?” She was confused… why would he be the one to save her. “Am I seeing things?”
