Somewhere near the woods in a town in Iowa that didn't deserve that name Lexi was crouching behind a bush, her gaze following the young men that had just stepped out of a bar. She had been stalking them for a while now and knew they belonged to the group she was looking for. Tracing them Lexi couldn't help but notice how human those three were. Despite of being part of a group that was aware of the existence of her kind the humans didn't look twice before stepping out on a dark street. They didn't wear any visible weapons nor were they smart enough to mind their surroundings. Fools. It was about time she made her move but not yet. She still had to find a way to deliver her message once she had her prey. Noiseless she stepped back, deeper into the forest. Unlike the humans she watched where she was going while gliding through the forest. She would have to let one of the humans go. She didn't doubt that they would let two of their soldiers die in order to keep her two friends. However she had a something they wouldn't be able to resit. Herself. And she was counting that that would be enough to lure them out of their hiding place.
