What is the West Main Arts Festival? May 6, 2023 Noon -8pm. Cultural District-Arlington, Texas. The largest festival in Arlington will expand beyond the 200 and 300 blocks of West Main St in Downtown Arlington. This year, 2 blocks have been added and the festival now includes Pecan St. up to the Levitt Pavilion grounds and W Main connecting to Center St. The 2023 West Main Arts Festival will create a 6 block street scene including over 100 art/vendor booths,12 food trucks and food vendors. The Arlington Public Library will provide and interactive kids area in the West Main Pocket Park. This 5 block stretch of West Main includes the Arlington Museum of Art, Dance Theater Arlington, Theater Arlington, Arlington Public Library and the Create Arlington Studios and Gallery The event also features 4 stages and 30 local bands along with buskers playing along West Main. Bring your lawn chairs to relax and listen to the music. This is a family friendly even and pets are welcome! There will also be plenty of open space on the street for kid and adults to bring their bikes or scooters to enjoy the Downtown streets. This festival was created 8 years ago by Arlington residents to support artists and musicians in the Arlington area.
