Just started season 8 after a lot of procrastinating and it's like why was that scene about Sam being with Amelia in 8x1 acted as if Dean was Sam's Dead wife or something and Sam moved on when they always told each other to move on but obv there was the presumption they wouldn't move on but Sam did move on like what do you mean "A girl?... Was there a girl?" Like Wincesties are winning with this one

Call me insane but this is my favourite scene in the whole movie. I need to learn how to make gifs just to gif this exact shot of this exact scene and have it. Because everything about it is so!!!!!
The bed which is so tiny and alone in the middle of the room and it's wooden and small like a coffin. Then the glass which is protecting his torso - his RIBS - because his ribs are broken, his ribs are vulnerable, this is where emotion hides. And of course the necklace!!!! The symbol of the "curse" itself!!! Still there and wiggling and alive and visible even though the ribs are out of reach.
And then ofc the empty shot glass and the shot... INSANE scene. And with the ouroboros right before this and the window and the disappearing and the WIND. Honestly some scenes in this movie felt like they were short films in and of themselves. I love it so much. There's so much here.
everyone is complaining about people not getting Queer (2024) over on letterboxd and yet I am yet to find anyone actually raving about the SYMBOLISM and the CINEMATOGRAPHY and how fucking good at EMOTION this movie is not only from the writing perspective but also through visuals!!!!! this movie is so filled with vast compositions and empty spaces and weird places to find yourself in - every single set is so un-human so out of place and un-real that it feels like a set and yeah yeah artistic liberties but also it SO SO accentuates Lee and his "out of placeness", he feels so flesh-and-blood so not fit to be in these "sets" and it's so aching and wonderfully executed and no one is saying it!!!!! on tumblr!!! the supposed symbols and parallels website!!!!!!!!!
