          “That’s a thoughtful familiar.” Mary wishes her broom would sweep up for her--but she senses that might not be right to articulate aloud. His broom isn’t some object, animated, existing only to serve; it’s a kind of companion, something feeling and alive. “Oh--have you seen this one?” It’s House on Haunted Hill. “We should watch it. It’s fun. It’s very fun.” And he seems like he might need a little of that.

grey’s  BOTTOM  lip  quivered  slightly  as  tears  welled  up  in  his  eyes.  in  this  SWEET  embrace,  he  pulled  merlin  a  little  bit  CLOSER  as  the  moonlight  reflected  blue  hues  down  upon  them.  ❝  yes,  merlin,  the  way  you  LOOKED  at  me—  i-i’ve  NEVER  had  someone  look  at  me  that  way  and  TREAT  me  as  nice  as  you  have,  thank  you  for  always  LOVIN’  me.  ❞  a  kiss  is  PRESSED  to  merlin’s  lips;  it’s  a  PASSIONATE  and  warm  one,  one  that  he  doesn’t  want  to  END.  ❝  merlin,  i  will  LOVE  you  in  this  life  and  the  next.  i’ll  NEVER  stop  lovin’  you.  ❞  

“That’s the point,” Jeremy huffed dramatically, a grin slowly spreading over his face. “It’s Christmas. Everything smells like Christmas!” He bit his lower lip as he glanced towards their surroundings. “I’d rather it smell like cinnamon than flowers, anyway. Flowers give me headaches.”

grey  watched  the  display  of  magic,  tears  WELLING  up  in  his  eyes  that  he  didn’t  bother  to  blink  AWAY.  he  grabbed  merlin’s  hand,  looking  down  at  him  with  those  GLOSSY  orbs  &.  he  kissed  his  cheek  softly.  ❝  merlin,  this  was  so  THOUGHTFUL  of  you,  and  it  was  beautiful.  this  is  the  SWEETEST  thing  anyone’s  ever  done  for  me.  ❞
