ACTUALLY SAME THOUGH, my entire first year of college i sat in my floor lounge watching my friends play their DnD campaign and my response was I Wanna DM, So thats my summer projectand omg

I’ve been watching ESSENTIALLY a Let’s Play DnD on YouTube and their DM and campaign are just so great and the whole energy is very casual and fun and like. that’s what I want?

I only know two people who DM, and one is the old coworker who invited me to his campaign, but my friends who have played with him before say he’s a little hardcore? and also like he invites a lot of people to his campaigns that end up being really flaky???? and on top of that like if he had it his way our group would meet like twice a week

and like. me and my friends all have jobs and hobbies. like so many of my friends are like “omg I want to play DnD but I can’t commit that kind of time to it” and like I’m gonna try to convince my old coworker to do like biweekly get-togethers instead so hey maybe these people could also play and then I was like
