Thank you so much for asking!! I love this story so much and I'm so excited to see it through. I definitely didn't mean for it to take so long to update, but life and my brain and writer's block and the insane decision to concurrently write a four chapter arc all conspired.
Chapter 13 is a scene and a half away from being ready to post! 14 is very loose, 15 is almost done, and 16 is about halfway there, and I'm writing at least a little every day!

So... It occurs to me that, with bullseye in custody, you don't really have a reason to need witness protection. Is there another more secret reason you're in hiding? Did you get signed up for some secret government program for super powers? Those rarely turn out well.
I honestly don't even know. I woke up in the hospital, a week had passed, and some feds came in and told me my "new identity" and that I'd "agreed" to the program. I don't know if I did, but I was pretty out of it the last few days.
