okay. allow me to explain
Both characters are from the visual novel Umineko No Naku Koro Ni. The character in my pfp is Bernkastel. The character in the image is Erika. Erika is the creation and piece of Bernkastel to act as her self-insert and double (she's essentially Bernkastel's chess piece). So it makes sense that you thought of them as the same, Erika deliberately looks similar to Bernkastel.
however the funny part of this is that i fucking hate erika with all my life, and its happened several times that someone unfamiliar with umineko sends me erika memes cus they mistook her for my pfp. its like a painful running gag. dont apologize its funny ... also thank u for thinking of me <3 also read umineko
