it's that the symbol behind ravenhead in the pic they show of him at a nazi convention is a wolfsangel (something that adds to the thin layer plausible deniability, since it's not quite a swastika)
which was of course appropriated by nazis like many other symbols but it's originally a symbol related to hunting wolves and warding off wolves, even specifically werewolves. so like.... this wasn't even intentional because i did not know about it but werewolf greg mauling ravenhead is actually CRAZY fitting and makes even more sense than i thought. i guess explicitly "using this" in the fic would've really just been a sentence or two but still
