𝐗𝐕𝐈. A few days ago I touched onto the topic of an existing disconnection between Cartethyia and Imperator, mainly on her perception of whether she is the Blessed Maiden or not and the lack of knowledge that the Sentinel had passed away, both being learned because of Rover. So in light of Pillars of Fire and the new information that was shed, this will expand more on that disconnection.
Disconnection which seems to have been mended, and thus leaving the door open for speculation that the conversation between Imperator and Cartethyia moments before her rebirth could've been longer. Another option to justify the knowledge Cartethyia has about Imperator (some of which They told them in the conversation they had before they went to talk with Cartethyia, other which seemed to be unknown to Rover —highly likely due to their lack of memories more than ignorance, given their connection with the Sentinels and the authority they have over them—) is that she learned about what she did by following Imperator's traces while she was within Cristoforo's penned fiction. Whichever the case may be, I'll be leaning more towards the former option than the latter.
Because it makes sense for Imperator to rely all of this information to Cartethyia. No matter if she wasn't initially chosen by Them as Their Resonator, a sense of gratitude for freeing Them from Leviathan's clutches at least and for making it as far in her perseverance to not fall for Its corruption suffices to be honest with her.
As for the information that she had from Imperator, it is revolving around her origins as well as the prospect that before her, Leviathan had created many more vessels for centuries until she became Its one and only success. Given the fact that the information meant for Rover that was left in the hub is one that even Imperator had forgotten (key for Leviathan to not find out, the best kept secret), this information will be left out. However, she would also have the knowledge from Imperator that there is more information that They can't reveal for this same reason, and that she should investigate.
