I love it when people are like post time skip Wei Wuxian avoids Jiang Cheng because he hates him.
Or that post timeskip Wei Wuxian doesn't want to stay around him because he gave up on their relationship because he can't stand to be around Jiang Cheng because of resentment and dislike.
When the main reason obviously is guilt.
It's also why he kept trying to run away from Lan Wangji.
The main thing that proves this is the fact that Wei Wuxian sees no reason to avoid people he hated, actually if he hates someone then avoiding them is the last thing he does, he will throw a punch or say something that humiliates the person.
Wei Wuxian both pre and post timeskip is the last person to avoid someone because of hatred.
No sir.
This is the man who fought the world for what he believed was right.
This is the man who lost almost everything he ever loved. (Almost because Jiang Cheng lived and now there's Jin Ling too) Even if he doesn't end up blaming himself (he has to on some level or he wouldn't have died the way he died) he will be absolutely terrified of being close to people he loves.
Much less towards someone he feels so much guilt towards.
Like yes he manages to adjust to Jin Ling even with the guilt (just barely, he is putting on his classic funny boy act) how the hell is he supposed to adjust to Jiang Cheng who absolutely would not let the past slide, who warned him multiple times what his actions would result in, who lost his last remaining family because of wwx (yes that includes WWX).
There's a lot of guilt that he wants to avoid too.
It's why he keeps trying to run.
Not because he dislikes Jiang Cheng or Lan Wangji or distrusts them in any way. But because he feels guilty towards them both, one wayyyyyy more than the other.
