Legend: Okay so this would kinda alter the Danpire design, but I think it’s adorable: vampire Danny being bitten and turned when he’s like twelve so he’s still like however many centuries old but also looks tiny and twelve. Also werewolf!Barry being technically the youngest because dogs grow up really fast so he’s like ACTUALLY twelve or something but looks full grown and Danny is SO BITTER. I just thought it was cute omg.

Legend: And everyone is like “pffft kid” and Danny’s like I’M LITERALLY 800 YEARS OLD. And Barry being really innocent and ignorant because he is the actual smol but everyone assumes he can do shit because HE’S GOT A BEARD GUYS HE’S GROWN.

Poco: Like Danny knew all these historically important people and has done all this super important stuff and people are like “ya want a nap buddy?” And Barry like being WAY too innocent about everything.

And like there is this small group of higher up/powerful people whose job it is specifically to cover up everything Dan has done in history so they are the only ones who know everything he’s done. Meanwhile Barry is just like going into bars and ordering chocolate milk and not understanding when girls flirt with him.

Legend: Um Barry is a dog and dogs can’t have chocolate, my dude. And also: Barry not even getting ID’d when he buys alcohol for Danny and/or drives him places and stuff like everyone just trusts that yes he is an adult.

Legend: I’m sure they all have people covering up their supernatural fuck ups. Ross constantly tries to start frenzies in public places by looking especially zombified and scaring people.

Poco: O that’s right about the chocolate. Also like yes them having people to cover them up! And like each one has their own file and is seen as a different threat/helpfulness level.

Legend: Danny having “connections” with extremely powerful political figures because of his histories with previous figures and always pretending to be the next generation of Dan Avidans.

Legend: Suzy using her potion making and such to make remedies and acne and not trusting modern medicine to help her.

Legend: Barry making friends with every dog he sees getting walked and talking to them like they’re people because he speaks dog. And their owners just look at him like wtf.

Legend: Arin occasionally needing Suzy to resew limbs on for him because shit man sometimes they just come loose.

Legend: Danny confusing his time periods and constantly using too much 80s slang for someone his age to know and slipping up and telling people like “yeah I saw that Rush concert live like ten years ago” and people are like...”When you were two...?”

Poco: Omg yes I love all of these!

Legend: Yeah man! Being in a car for too long makes me weirdly creative.

Poco: And also Suzy accidentally like spilling something in Barry’s fur so she gives him a super cute hair cut.

Legend: Awww shaving Barry’s fur so he’s got that haircut dogs have where just their heads are still really furry.

Poco: And I love that Dan knows like all the people. OOOO what about Brian just kinda being his mysterious guardian that is just always there with him when he needs him. And Arin getting super annoyed at all the stereotypes he gets.

Legend: I can’t decide what Brian and Holly should be. I mean, the obvious choice for Holly is a harpy but egobanging-in-the-house-tonight has harpy!Holly already sooo

Poco: I mean, you could always make her a pheonix if ya want or a satyr is cool too.
