pov: u broke one of ur legs bc you’re clumsy af....u go to the hospital to get treated....u hear the nurse call ur name....u enter into the doctor’s office,,..and u see this mans greeting u, “good afternoon (y/n), what may i help you with today?”

surprise!! he’s the hot doctor cliche!!! ok anyways..

edwin always came from a family of success; his grandfather’s a highly regarded professor in academia while his parents worked for the biggest law firm in the country.

since he was little, edwin constantly felt the need to live up to his family’s high expectations of him. he always had to score the highest grades, be well-read, the best speaker in the debate team, have a balanced lifestyle, and blah blah

now that edwin has a pretty steady (and stressful)(hence the greying hair lmao) career as a doctor, his family has been bugging him less, but.....

he realizes that he’s a big mess. he doesn’t know how to appreciate life!!!

if he reads, he reads medical journals. if he plays the piano, it’s to practice so he doesn’t get rusty. if he runs, it’s so that his stamina is high enough to rush to emergency ward in time. u get my drift,,

ever since his childhood, he has rarely let himself do things for just...pure enjoyment. and seeing the ad for pickett’s bc inspired him tbh. he’s like who is this soft, carefree ass looking girl....i aspire to b as free as her..

his personal goal rn: he wants to learn how to appreciate the smol things in life, and if love comes in the picture, he would want to embrace it wholeheartedly too!
