Exercise A WOW! How do I enhance my creativity? Random images flashed through my head as I tried my best to come up with something creative. Music has always been a key source of inspiration for me. It is amazing that there are various interpretations of the same song, despite it having the same lyrics, it is largely affected by the context of the listener. What if there exists something that helps me to see something from more perspectives? Inspired by the popularity of virtual reality (VR), I began my sketch with a VR headset, which can be easily attached to the head of individuals. Naturally, as a big fan of music, I attached a set of wireless Airpods aimed to increase interaction between user and the device. The device has Artificial Intelligence (AI) installed, which provides similar interactive functions such as Siri and Jarvis in the Iron Man movie. While oneβs knowledge is limited, the device (named VRandom Glasses) serves a key role in providing access to a wider sea of information, at a quicker speed. This device is designed to suit all users, it is simple to operate. When an user tries to brainstorm an idea, he/she can beginning searching a key word/idea. For instance, the key word can be βRedβ. While oneβs interpretation of the word is limited by his/her knowledge, the AI provides images/information of other related information of the word. A man with basic knowledge to POP music may be aware of Taylor Swiftβs song and Album βRedβ, however, he might not be aware of the professional Red Digital Camera. When switched on, the VRandom Glasses flashes various content related to the key word, providing greater possible ideas for the users. The name of the device is largely inspired by my own thought process. While I often start by scanning through and combining various possible interpretations of a word, this device will definitely be a great use to people similar as me. However, I do acknowledge that although we can invent all kinds of devices with the help of technology, sometimes the most impromptu, unplanned method works as great too.
