Welcome all amazing readers! Today I want to tell you about my first ever novel WIP. I wrote it back in March of 2021 and finished at 56,000 words in the same month! Recently I worked a bit on it and revised it a little and now it is sitting at 58,661 words. I am proud of it, but I know it needs work.

Reason for my WIP Intro:
I am creating my WIP intro, because I want some beta readers. I am in general looking for feedback to my stories and trying to put my story out there in the world and let people know they exist!
Title:
Tales From Deep Within The Bellwoods Forest (I know what you are thinking, longest title ever!) Its my first novel in five years that wasn't supposed to be a novel, go easy on me :)
Genre:
This I am a bit foggy on. I would say horror, but at the same time it isn't that much horror in it. I am going with Supernatural horror
Status:
It is my 1st draft (with plans to rewrite in the future to make it better.) It is complete, but it is very unedited and it needs a lot of work.
POV:
The POV is told in first person from my main character Andrea Lynn Burwin (warning: this story contains switing POV's)
I feel the need to throw in that this story is basically a part 1 to a part 2. I am currently working on the 2nd book, which I will also do a WIP intro for later on.
Synopsis:
In this first story, we see two girls who are sisters. They set out on a not so special day to find themselves something to do. It is on a Friday afternoon on a cool autumn day and it is only a few days before they are back in a concrete classroom prison cell.
While out among the town’s playground, the two find something very eerie and interesting. Before you know it, the two has separated from one another lost in their very own worlds. While they each chase something different following their own random thoughts and curiosities, they both stumble upon the same thing. Deep in these woods where no birds sing and only crows caw you will find a mystery beast and some may say he carries a set of large sharp claws.
While one is lost all to her own, the other has someone’s company she quite enjoys. Together they have a mission to conquer the night and survive these Bellwoods and the beast that lies within them.
Setting:
The setting takes place in a small town called Bellwoods. It is the type of town where everyone knows mostly everyone. It sits in the center of a lot of woodlands, forest, and many miles of mountain ranges, rivers, creeks, and wide open feilds. The year is 2028, but not much has changed considering it is projected 7 years into the future. It is nothing fancy how most futuristic books are, everything for the most part is basic and I hope that doesn't disappoint you.
Story Tropes:
Siblings being siblings, early romance, break-up, two lost loves coming back together, and uniting family members along with family problems. Rebuilding relationships.

Meet Andrea Lynn Burwin - The Curious Emo Writer:
Andrea is 15 years old and loves to write, sketch, and paint. She can be a bit sarcastic at times, but once you really get to know her, you will find she is a sweet, kind, and caring free spirited person who tries to do her absolute best and gives her all with everything she does. She has not had an easy life growing up, even though it wasn't the worst in her younger years, as Andrea got older she became a target for her family. Andrea hides so much so well and wesrs a grest big smile over the emotional overwhelming frown she wears every single day. For an introvert you can't exspect much, but Andrea is more going out than most introverts. She finds beauty in natures and loves to be alone out in the world to watch and see. You can tell when she is lost in deep thought and overthinking, fighting her demons. Her strength comes from her family. Growing up, the only person she ever truly had is her little sister Sheela. She always done her best to take care of Sheela, but we can't forget they are siblings. Sheela can get to Andrea sometimes, but that never stops Andrea from watching out for her baby sister and protecting Sheela with her life. Andrea is a lover and a fighter, but she is still only a teenager. It takes her having a wake-up call for her to fully grasp life and figure out what is happening around her, to stand her ground, and take her place in her life.
Meet Sheela Macy Burwin - The young adolescent just enjoying life:
Sheela is just ten years old and very out-going. She loves meeting new people and be surrounded by lots of people. She thrives in parties and social gatherings. She does her best to live up to the exspectations of her older sister and guardian watching her, but she also wants to live up to her potenial and be the best she can be. She tries to follow her older sister's footsteps and wants to be just like Andrea. She loves exploring and learning new things, she watches her sister daily in hopes of growing up someday and be just like Andrea. Andrea thinks otherwise, about being a great role model and such. Andrea wants her sister to be better, but how can Sheela be better?
(Both girls grew up without their parents around, naturally Andrea grew up to be her own person, but Sheela can only see Andrea as the only mother figure she has.)
She wants Andrea to be proud of her and tries anything and everything to make that happen as if it is her goal. Sheela's chance to be anything more than a snot nose kid sister has never arrived. The world sees her as a young ankle biter copying her older sister to annoy Andrea, but that lies far from the truth. One day she will prove herself to be so much more.
Meet Kye Ben Roberts- The hard working traveler/explorer:
Kye is 17 and loves nature. Even though Kye is an introvert he loves being alone out in the world travling and exploring his surroundings. He admires nature and can get lost for hours looking beyond the blue skies and green grass. He has had a rough bringing up, but still manages to find the silver lining to keep moving forward. He apperciates his life, being alive, and having people in his life who cares about him. He works everyday after school working to help support him and his grandpa. His grandpa raised him from 14 years of age til now. When given a great opprutunity we get to see Kye jump on a great offer and is relieved to have it. Kye is a fun loving free spirit who can spot his wrongs and does his best to make them right. He loves someone in his life very dearly and up on making a mistake he regrets, now all he wants to do is fix his mistake and regain what he has lost. He is a soft, kind, and caring soul, but even though he paints a smile on his face and acts tough and brave, there is so much more than meets the eye. You dig a little deeper and you will soon find the real true Kye.

I have made my first Writeblr introduction!
I am very new to it all. I am even new to tumblr. I have been trying to farmiliarize myself with the app and get to know a little bit about it. I actually kind of like it, well at least starting to, now.
I have been writing for a bit, but I had stopped for about 5 years or so, for reasons I won't get in to. I have come accustomed to the app and how it works and figured it is about time to introduce myself.
My name is Kristin R. Summers. I am female and I am currently 20 years old with my birthday coming up fast in about 30 days. I feel I am a beginning writer though I have dabbled in writing for a few years before the five year break. I got Tumblr, because my friend forced me too XD :) Nah, I am kidding, she told me about it more than once and how she got her story stuff on there and thought it may be a good idea for me to do the same. Its a writers playground social media app and so now I exist here.
I like to read, but I don't do it much due to something wrong with me :) When I read to myself I tend to not comprehend things well. I struggled with it through school, but I still love to read and figure the more I do it, maybe I will get better at it someday. I love reading dramas, light romances that aren't too graphic, supernatural stuff, horror, thrillers, and sci-fi. I'll try and read anything, but sometimes it catches my eye and sometimes it doesn't.
I like to write. If that wasn't obvious. Haha, but I do. I love writing horror stories mostly, supernatural stories. Given I haven't wrote anything in a while, lately thats the only thing I have wrote, but given a chance, I can see myself writing a light romance drama story or even something sci-fi, but almost always my stories are made up and complete fiction.
My preferred writing POV is first person. It always has been. I have wrote in third person, but it never comes out the way I want it to. First person is easier for me and more personal. I always try to stick with first person in the present tense.
Things I am most likely to post about:
I will have a WIP Intro posted in just a bit following this Writeblr Intro.
I have two more I want to do as well, and mostly anything I write here on out will have WIP intros on this app
I will mostly likely post updates for my stories either on Mondays and Fridays or Saturday and Wednesday, I may only do it once a week, it is undecided. (How particular of me)
I also want to start a daily writer's quote thing, because I like writers quotes and the impact they make on some people and it is a big help to learn the app more and get my personal thoughts out there.
I am gradually learning more being on this app everyday. I am falling more and more in love with it. I want to learn and get exsperience and get ideas and such from this app, and so far it has been an amazing find.

I guess I have given it so little thought. I haven’t even considered if I deserve her or not. Am I even good enough for her? Some might say I’m not but I was the one out there risking my life to save her. I was the one helping her in school and giving gifts to. I hold the doors open for her and bring her chocolates and flowers. I want her to always be happy. They say real love is only when the person you are with, their happiness comes before your own. That is how I am with her.
Her happiness, her confidence, and her self esteem comes before my own and before anyone else in my life. Everything is going to be fine, I know it. This is destiny. Her and I are just meant to be and I can tell anyone that happily. Her and I are a one of a kind and we will always be forever, no matter what. Now I am really getting hungry and my mind is no longer functional to think of anything except for food. Dinner time, here I come.

So I have yet to write on my story today, but in my defense 😑 ive been to walmart and I hate HATE HATTTEEE!!! Walmart!
Finally home and settled down I may start writing in a bit. I still want to do my Quote, but i have to find one first 😊 so everyone, I hope your day is going great and remember to always stay positive even on the roughest days!
