Today’s prompt for #WriterFriendsChallenge is “Writer Rest”. December is the perfect time of the year for rest. I’ve basically been grinding all year. I’ve written two books and revised another and been in and out of the query trenches. So, to say the least, I’m exhausted. To wind down, I’ll admit that I love to watch holiday films. I adore the classics like “Miracle on 34th St.” and “Holiday Inn”, but I also swoon over movies like “While You Were Sleeping” and “The Holiday”. I’m also a sappy fan of Hallmark movies. The one pictured here is not from Hallmark but has become one of my favorites year after year. Super sweet. Romantic. And this one hits the trifecta with an air of mystery to it.
