Cassandra didn’t know what to think of the new ‘Baroness’. Sure, she trusted Vex’ahlia, enough. She did help kill the Briarwoods and save Whitestone and Cassandra did appreciate that. But she just wished Percival would have warned his sister first before giving his lover a title. The younger woman sighed, watching her brother and his new family laugh and eat together in the dining room. Not wanting to interrupt their time together Cassandra turned to walk away, heading back to her office

     “Don’t worry darling. I’ll try not to die.”

        “ don’t give me that look. ”  there’s an ever present darkness in the back of percy’s words as he glances to vex, blood splattered across his face from the gruesome death of their foe. it was a measly little beast and the close range shot of percival’s gun was a bit overkill. literally.  “ it had to be done. one of us had to do it and you know it. ”

     “i doubt we’ll have trouble getting him to cooperate.” one dagger is spun lazily between his fingers - an idle threat.
