While leaving the letter didn't do much to settle his tempered nerves, at least he knew that Toriel was informed. Sans squeezed tight his fists, staring at the Dark Fountain before him, in this unassuming alleyway, a splattering of long dried blood leading into it.
Someone had been through here before, he could tell. Who knows what other being was now in danger? Another soul trying to rescue Kris? Shit, he didn't have much time.
Before you lies a portal into the Dark World. Whoever has wandered in before you might now be in grave danger, if the trail of blood before you is any indicator. Time is of the essence. If you don't jump in, something far worse could happen. Who knows, an invasion upon the world of light could be waiting inside. -> ENTER
Without hesitation, Sans leapt forward into the portal, outfit seeming unchanged, save for an orange scarf, torn and bloodied.
It once belonged to his brother. At least, it did in a different life. One whose memory had faded long ago.
Sans had no idea what would follow his intrusion, but the energy flowing through him meant that he was at the very least prepared.
Even if it meant he could die in one hit.
