Reginald Shardheart and Nicolas Scudderleaf enjoy a moment at Nicolas' favorite cafe. Nicolas: I can't believe we're actually here! I've been wanting to bring you here, forever. My old haunts. Reginald: Well, you know we can't leave Wintermare. This has got to be a dream or one of Glacias' twist- no. She doesn't even know about us. Does she? This should be a magic moment, but something doesn't feel right. Nicolas: I... know what you mean. But, Reggie, this has been one bright spot in our dismal lives, trapped in that "tomb", taking orders from that... your... wife. For how long now? Yech! Can't we just... I feel it. Something. Darkening. I think I'm scared. Reginald: *Looks around nervously before returning his gaze to Nicolas* Hey, we're together, right? It can't be that bad.

Mrs. Moraigne: I've called this emergency meeting to let you all know what has been done, so far, following Mistress Shardhearts' abrupt departure.
