Y/N’s POV

I came back from my last day of work and I came to pick up my little sister from the Kindergarten, ever since my parents died after that Grim attack I got separated from my childhood best friends Lie and Nora, and the only thing I wish for is to see them again...I came to kindergarten and I see my adoptive little sister S/N she notice me and runs quickly at me and hugs me tighly 

S/N says while still hugging me “is mommy coming late again”

I nod and pet her head “yeah, she and uncle Pietro had something to attend on the last minute so she asked me to pick you up for her” she nods and takes my hand and I say “didn’t you forgot something?” she gasp and realize she runs off and she pick up her Pyrrha Nikos’ action figure, S/N really is a big fan of Pyrrha and is also sad that she died, S/N was sad as well but she takes it pretty well from someone her age well we arrived home wish is a fine house and I told her “hey S/N go get ready and I’ll make dinner for us okay”

she smile brightly and nods and hugs me tightly and say “Yay, don’t tell Mommy, but I like your cooking better, where did you learn how to make those Pancakes like that this morning”

I went silent for a bit and I sigh and reply to her with a smile “from my childhood friend”

She ask me with her eyes shining brightly “what’s his name?”

after talking to Pietro we run out to fight the grim and protecting the innoncent of mantle and I then we hear a roar from behind me and I hear a slash from behind it and turns into dust and a Long Bleached Blonde haired guy wearing like a black tight suit and a mask that shows his blue eyes and has like a choker with a gold Canary symbol on it he looks at me with a sad smile on his face...I wonder why? 

he ask me since he talks with a voice changer I guess that’s what the choker is “are you alright?”

I don’t know why but I feel like I know him I nod and then say “yeah I’m okay, thanks” the figure nods at me and then I notice that there was the last of them and I noticed a familiar face landed on the ground and is none other than Penny Polendina I thought she died back at amity that’s when Pietro explains that How did Penny “survived” 

Pietro and Halo notice the masked hunter who help us out

Halo did a chuckle and say “come out my child you can let them show you”

the Figure replies “I wish it was easier that I think but we’re in public and my face need to be keep hidden from...You know who” 

Halo sighs and nods saying “alright, let’s go, then” 

we begin to walk but then we hear a grunt and is that Ruby’s been tied up by some rope and then Weiss, Blake, and Yang that’s I heard the mask hunter shouting “Lie, look out!” I got tackled down by the hunter...wait did he call me Lie? does he know me?...or yet does he know...him the Mask hunter drag me away from the what’s going on and I see that they’re taking my friends I struggle to get out and he says “you can’t they’re beyond more experienced than us we need to hide, we’ll get your friends back I promise” I don’t know why but I feel like I can trust him I nod and we went to a warehouse, and I hear Halo’s voice 

she says “Canary can you hear me?”

the guy pulls out a communicator and says “yeah I hear you, the Ace Ops has the others, but I manage to save Lie” he said my first name again...this can’t be Y/N

Halo says “well unfortunately, Atlas are going to look for you and Ren, be careful, Y/N” My eyes widen in shock once I hear his real name

he turn off his voice changer and says “yes...I will, mom”

once he hanged up I ask “Y-Y/N” Canary slowly turn to me and he takes off his mask and I notice that once he takes off his mask his “blue” eyes turns into E/C he touches his blonde hair and pulls off revealing his natural H/C

I was shock after seeing this and I see that it is him, my best friend...the person that I’ve been wanting to look for was right in front of me Y/N L/N he looks at me with a smile as tears begins to fall down from his faces saying with his voice breaking “Found You Lie” I couldn’t take it anymore I pull Y/N to a tight embrace and I begin to cry while holding him close as he hugs me back, I hear him say "I've missed you Lie"

I reply while burying my face on his shoulder since I’m a litter taller than him "I’ve missed you too,Y/N” I pull myself away from Y/N and ask “how you recognized me?"

He smiles at me and reply "I mean only the Lie I know has that cute pink stripe on your hair, and he looks pretty cool in green"

I feel my face heating up and look away and I see some chattered glass on the floor Y/N notice it as well and say “Oh, sorry I wasn’t expecting to takes somebody here that I didn’t notice my own mess” Y/N press a button and a small robot cleans up the floor is a cube shaped robot and it look kind of cute

I ask him “what this your doing?”

Y/N nods saying “yes Lie, aftef all this is the result after fully mastered the Semblance I was born with”

I ask him “how does it does?”

he looks at me with a unsured expression “you’re sure you want to know?”

I nod and say “yeah, I want to since I don’t know about it”

Y/N sigh and goes to a night table and pulls out ear plugs and walks towards me and says while handing them to me “take this you might need it” 

I look at Y/N confusedly and nod and once I put them some eye protection glasses and he gave me a pair as well for my eyes aswell so I put them on and he looks at me and then nod as if he’s asking if I’m ready and I nod back in reply. Y/N takes a deep breath and fires a huge sonic scream and chatters all the glass that are in front of him

I was amazed with what Y/N did and I couldn’t think about what’s just happened I take the earplugs off once he looks at me as he says “I know is not the best semblance but at least is useful for something that’s why Winter Schnee trained me and became the person that you see right now” I notice that he look down in sadness as he adds “ever since the attack those years ago I still remember it like it was yesterday and I wish that one day I could be strong enough to avenge our people and our family that didn’t survived...Lie...I’ve killed people before...It was unbelievable of me doing it, I didn’t wanted t-to Lie, I-I s-swear”

he cries I pull him to a embrace and hold him close and say “Y/N...I believe you, even that you killed people...you’re still the Favorite Flower I know” Y/N blushes and I realized what I said and made me blush as well and say “I-I mean the Y/N I-I know”

I then hear Y/N chuckle and say “you’re so sweet Lie, thanks...but I’m still picking up pieces of the fact that I killed people of the white fang trying to attack Mantle taking innoncent humans hostage” he looks up at me with a smile

I place a hand on his left cheek and say “I mean what I say, and...you don’t need to take those pieces alone, I’m always here...to pick them up with you” and I feel this closeness that I have with him those Magestic E/C that same smooth H/L HC hair of his and those soft lips...I wanted to kiss them so bad I lean closer and I see that he’s doing the same our lips are a inch close to touch but that moment ruinded when a hard knock echoed the room and he says to me “hide” he went to take his clothes off and I turn away and hide in a closet I then her the door open

Y/N’s POV

I take off my jacket and put a random shirt over the black than top and open the door hopefully Lie’s well hidden and I open the door revealing to be Mom and...Winter

Mom ask “you’re okay?”

I nod “I am, well we’re okay”

they both walk in as I ask “knowing you Winter you aren’t just here for a visit, so what business you want to bring?”

She gives me a apology look and says “Ironwood knows about me knowing about you..., but not exactly who you are and he wants me to bring you to him...and he know that you got Lie Ren with you”

I sigh and say “you can come out Lie” Lie walk out of the closet and I look back at Winter and ask “I don’t trust Ironwood, now what?”

Mom says “for the best I think you two should go”

I look at Mom like she’s crazy “why?”

I notice tears are forming in her eyes and answers “if you don’t they’ll kill S/N”

My eyes widen in shock and hear Winter grunt in anger and Lie gasp Winter says “and he’ll also kill Weiss and the others if I disobey his orders”

I feel anger filling up in me I glare at nowhere and say “if he wants me that bad then he can have me I’ll show that son of a bitch that he messed with the wrong bird”

I feel Lie hand on mine and I see that his hands glow as I feel like calm down and he says “calm down Y/N...you need to calm down I just don’t want you to get hurt”

I feel that my cheeks heat up and nod “alright” I look at Winter and ask “when?”

She explains everything that happened to Nora and the others for the moment they’re in a two separate room for team since they’re still looking for me and Lie and I sigh and think is for the best, if I go S/N will be alright, knowing that Jackass of a man that he call himself general, he’s a lot of things, but a liar he isn’t

I look at Lie and guide him to a room where he can sleep and before I went to mine I hear Lie asking “Y/N...will you like to stay you’re still tensed for the supposed death threat” not going to lie I am still tensed for the threat and he had the audacity to involve my little sister a 6 year old girl and he think that he can do such thing to a child...he’s sure as hell got the balls and I’ll see if he has once I cut them off I feel a hand on my back and Lie says “Y/N...”

I take a deep breath and say “sure...I need time to cool down” I sit on the bed and say “sorry that you get to see that side of me”

Lie shakes his head and replies “is fine, you have the right to be mad Y/N” I sigh and I feel be pull down on the bed and hug from behind wish makes me blush full red

I ask him “L-Lie? What are you-”

he cuts me off saying “just sleep, Flower” I blush at the name again as I feel his body touching my entire backside and his face bury on my neck wish I feel relax and I close my eyes and I fell asleep

I open my eyes and I see that I’m in a yellow place and I hear a elderly woman voice 

“hello Y/N” I turn and I see...Fria the Winter Maiden and she then say “I bet you’re asking what are we doing here...well I’ve been looking around for the one worthy but I haven’t found one until Winter told me about you...and I wanted to meet you Y/N” she holds my hands and say “Y/N...I choose you” I realize what she meant with that our hands glow in light blue

I say to her “are you sure, Fria? Me out of all? I-I’m not even a girl...Why?”

she smiles at me and say “because you out of all, knows the truth and you’re inspired people in mantel, now take my power, Mantel needs the Canary more than ever...the world needs the Winter Maiden” 

I nod and say “I’ll never let you down”

she gives me a sweet smile as whe fade while everything turns white

I open my eyes and look at the clock and it says that is 7am and I hear a weird sound from behind and I see Lie still hugging me and I sit up before I could get out of bed I get pull back to bed and snuggles by a sleepy Lie I snuggle out and walks out as Lie roll to the other side wish makes me chuckle when he used to hug me in his sleep when we were kids wish I thought it was normal we were just kids and...why I feel different with that...am I falling for Lie

is been 3 days since I became the new winter Maiden and Lie and I got to atlas and become hunters, but the problem is...no one except, Mom and Winter knows about me be the winter maiden, I was thinknig about not to tell Penny since she’s a robot and she can’t lie, but she’ll already figure it out like how she found out that Blake is a faunus before anyone else did, that’s according to Lie speaking of Lie I notice the Ace Ops are looking at me strangely wish I return the look and they look away and I continue walking out of the training room and I meet team JNR wish is Jaune, Nora and Lie I look at them with a smile as Nora tackles me to a tight hug

she says “please let me be the maid of honor”

I blush and ask “w-what?” I notice that Lie pulls Nora away from me

he says “sorry about that Y/N”

I reply still red as Ruby’s Crescent Rose “i-is okay, j-just surprised that’s all”

I sigh and admit to them “to be honest with you guys, I’d been here before on private training with Winter Schnee” the others looks at me in shock as I continue “I had a strange feeling that Ironwood will go on planing something that no one will think it will, and that’s why I do not to trust him”

Oscar ask me “you think so?”

I look at him and reply “I know he’s capable of doing something like this...if he finds out about the truth about Salem’s imortality...he’ll go nuts but he deserves to know the truth once he fully turst us” they all look at me even more shocked as if I know a secret that they know I continue “how I know that? Raven Branwen told me” they all seem to take a back before saying anything

I then put Oscard on a near bench and say to them “I have to go and see Winter she told me that she needed me for something, I’ll see you guys in a bit”

I wave them bye before hugging Ren and then leave the place and head to where Winter and I always train and once I made it I see Winter standing in the middle of the ring with her sword on her hand and I see the Ace Ops walking out of the room once Winter says “leave us, Please”

they all left the room and I went towards Winter and she dashes to strike me and I easily counter her attar wish my staff our weapons clash onto each other and she summons a barewolf with her glyphs and I slide downards and release the canary cry chattering it

Winter ask “did you have told anyone about your new powers”

I reply “not a soul” once I said that both tips of our weapons are on our faces

Winter unexpectedly says “I think you should tell”

I pull away and move my staff and say “Winter I’d killed people, I’m still picking up those pieces” I walk to a bench and add “my “father” Brought me to train with the assasins and it brought me this...need to take...to kill...I’m Dangerous

Winter “after the whole White fang insident I manage to remain more vigilant with my surroundings I’d done that by noticing your mom as the Black Canary, I found that selflessness in you”

I admit “for me be the Canary was never that positive”

Winter then says “then don’t be the canary, do what Ren and the others have been doing, do what your mom’s offering you a chance for you to do, and...” gloved hand on my head while petting it “be hero in the light” I look up at Winter as she says “be the Winter Canary”

she moves her hand off my hand she walks off and I follow her as a vaut opens and I see what’s inside as I ask Winter “where did you get this?”

Winter smirks and reply “from a good combat gear designer name Mei”

I also notice the mask that wasn’t there I ask again “where’s the mask?”

Winter: You mean for our wedding?

Ruby: *blushing slightly* Well...yeah I did. I knew it was going to get cold in Atlas so I wanted to make sure she was taken care of.

Winter: Well the scarf may be impressive, but for the sake of your wedding I hope you’ll be up to the task of sewing an impressive dress. I wouldn’t have Weiss in anything below her.

Ruby: Wait...what?

Winter: There’s no to worry yourself Ruby, I’ll be accompanying you and ensuring that only the finest materials go into my sister’s and your dress. Unless you feel confidant in picking the necessary materials yourself?
