Lady Draven, better known as Malora Hightower the Mad Maid.
Malora was a cunning woman who used trickery to get her ability from a bog witch when she was a young girl. Ever since gaining the abilities of foresight and divination she has used them to help the small folk find missing cattle and shipments. She always told the truth of what she saw, even when it was disheartening or hard. Whispers of this eventually reached the ears of Lord Valerius and he was quick to marry Malora to secure that power for his own house after testing her abilities.
Despite Malora’s abilities being well recognized by the small folk, those of the royal court deemed her a madwoman, refusing to believe as she predicted doom for their houses in the coming years. This wasn’t helped by her isolation inflicted upon her by her father when she turned 20.
Malora is unsure what her feelings are for Lord Valerius. It's not quite friendship or love, but she doesn’t hate him and she isn’t ambilient either. She would choose him over any of her suitors, even if there were never that many to choose from in the first place, and while his face scared her at first she has come to find comfort in it. A face that she knows will protect her on the fact that she is his wife alone. More than anything he believes her about her visions, tolerates her nightly terrors and screaming fits, and has helped her learn to better control her magic bringing a sense of stability and security she has never known before. Malora is well aware that Valerius will never love her, his attention solely on his secret lover that even she doesn’t know the name of and she doesn’t know if she should take comfort in that or feel jealousy over it. But she knows that one way or another she will support him and his rise to power in any way she can because whatever her feelings are towards him they demand as much.
