Quebec City: Winter Carnaval
It was a merry fete in the middle of winter in the beautiful town of Quebec City. Every year, the city gathers around the Plains of Abraham, a 250 acre park just outside of Vieux-Quebec (Old Quebec) to celebrate Winter Carnaval, the largest winter festival in the world. Bonhomme, a giant, smiling snow figure, comes to life as a symbol of the celebration. For a mere CAD$12, you get access to all the festivities. That is, if you can brave the freezing temperatures.
