Winter Blast is a plasmid developed and marketed by Ryan Industries that provides the user with the ability to freeze targets. Winter Blast was mainly advertised for culinary purposes, even being the focus of "The Kitchen of Tomorrow" exhibit at the Hall of the Future in Ryan Amusements. Waiters would supply customers with ice cubes for their drinks with a snap of their fingers and housewives could easily freeze leftover food for preservation.
