Winston and I had a very successful day. We covered 3 miles including Saturday Market, through downtown into waterfront park and Minto Brow Park. We ran into lots of people and dogs. After we both went through a guide dog boot camp of sorts. It’s looking very promising for us both. I learned how to better manage Winston and he in response is showing me how amazing of a guide dog he has always been. I have not only learned more techniques & tools to better communicate with Winston. But I’ve learned how important it is to be consistent with myself and him. I feel more equipped than I ever have. Winston and I will continue to build on our communication. And I will continue to my best to adjust and fix the little things that will make us so much stronger together.
