☆Do you feel it?Do you feel that I can see your soul?☆
That sure had been a long, busy day. He had nursed Steve back to health, offering the warmth and comfort that he was after, decorating the rest of the house and hoping that the Christmas tree wouldn’t end up on fire following some of Constantine’s antiques. Steve had announced that he was going to have a bath and wait for him in bed. Tony of course would have joined him, but figured out that Steve needed the time to soak in the bath for a while, using one of Tony’s many expensive oils. He knew very well how the soreness would be cured away, or rather, have been made sufferable after sitting in a warm, steam room for a while.
When he opened the door, he had noticed that Steve was already fast asleep, blue and red fairy lights hanged on top of the bed illuminating his peaceful face. Tony closed the door and stood by the frame for a little bit, admiring the man he was so lucky to been sleeping next to. The blanket was half covering his chest; Steve seemed to be refusing to sleep in shirts, no matter what the weather. Changing quickly into his bottoms and a sleeveless shirt, he carefully climbed into the bed, smirking to himself as Steve moved to face him, in his sleep, arm in the perfect position for him to cuddle. Getting all comfortable, he slipped into his embrace, feeling Steve’s warm breath against him, the top of his head just under Steve’s jaw.
There was a slight sound coming from fast asleep Steve, but his arms circled Tony, fully embracing him, and before he knew it, Tony himself was resting, safe and sound, into his partner’s warm embrace.
