maple - is there a hobby / skill that you’ve always wanted to try but never did? 

Yes! I’ve really wanted to try bookbinding and felting. I think I’m going to buy a felting kit though, because stabbing things for fun (and to create something cute) sounds amazing!

bonfire - describe your dream house.

It’s more cottage than house, and think Provence or maybe the Lake Country in England. The kitchen is cheery, and has enough room for a small dining table too. The living area has a fireplace, and comfy, velvet-upholstered furniture grouped around it. There are cushions and throw blankets, kitties sleeping on their beds, and yes, a decent TV and sound system. 

Walking down the hallway with its herringbone-patterned wood floor, there’s a lovely bedroom and bathroom, and another bedroom and bathroom. Both are cozy as hell, and the one of them that looks like a fae forest in the morning, that one’s mine. At the end of the hall, there’s a narrow staircase that leads to a lofted attic room where there’s a desk, a comfortable chair, lots of books, and a window with an amazing view onto some water. 

This is such an interesting title.

I would set said fic Post-Rogue and Gambit: Ring of Fire, but Pre-Wedding. So, she and Remy are together and in a less dramatic stage of the relationship.

I feel lame for picking this idea because it feels like it’s just a cop out, but Rogue is a proud Mississippi girl, and even though she’s been transient through out her life, I don’t see her being a bit fan of cold weather. Sure, it makes people wear more layers around her so she doesn’t have to be so careful, but she’s always had better memories associated with warmth and she finds herself reminiscing on those memories. 

So, I’m just imagining her watching people playing in the snow outside and enjoying themselves, and she’s miserable and wishes she could be somewhere, particularly someplace like Valle Soleada where she and Remy had a pretty nice and domestic setup before they got re-powered by Sage. I would end it with a cheeky Remy cameo who comes at the end to pull her out her dark mood and offers to warm her up - thus reminding her the warmth of those days isn’t gone forever and can come again.

This not my best work and I’m ashamed.

Well, now, this one is going to be fun (when i put words down).  Killian is a youtube drummer, Emma a youtube singer and they are both attending a youtube musicians con event.  There is silly singing, a boy band called “The Charmings” fronted by David, and Emma and MM girly talking about boys!

17. Do you eat your vegetables? 

Probably not enough. Vegetables are good and tasty but they take work and prep and they’re perishable! (dammit). I get really distracted about what groceries I have and don’t do terribly well at eating them before they go off. 

I try to eat them if they’re provided (because I didn’t have to do any work) and I have frozen veggies in the freezer because they’re really easy to add to dinner (and I am terrible at making dinner)

Do you feel like an adult? 

Yes, somewhat reluctantly. I have bills, I can mostly afford them, I get to decide where I live (within the confines of affordability). If I want something, I can usually have it if I wait long enough. I think adults hang out in pyjamas more than I ever imagined they did (though I do like robes) and adults enjoy video games and netflix binges. I’m not as cool as my aunt who is so good at cleaning and I have yet to knit a sweater and I still get excited when I get paid...

You do know it’s the BEGINNING of the 3rd, right? So that’s still damn good.

11. Do you listen to music when writing?

Yes, but never lyrical music. I tend to get too into the music if there are lyrics, or find it distracting enough that I end up not writing anything. I listen to ambient sounds on youtube (rain, etc), and have been known to put one of those 10 hour Skyrim soundtrack videos on. I will, however, listen to specific lyrical songs to kind of get me in the mood for certain scenes (Once Upon a Dream by Lana Del Rey is ALWAYS on repeat right before I write any Maleficent scene, and Right Here by Ashes Remain is my number one choice for a CS heavy scene). 

26. story you’re most proud of

Days of Future’s Past, hands down. 

I know it was the first story I ever wrote for this fandom, but it is still and always will be my baby. I put a lot of work into that universe (and still am since I’m working on it’s sequel) and it was an absolute labor of love to tell that story. 

also, he technically killed a human (even if a nasty arse one). that's kind of a huge thing.
