South Coast Winery 2016 Chardonnay Sans Chéne. Okay... this is good!! I was pleasantly surprised by this Chardonnay, especially since Temecula is more known for its Cabernet, Syrah, Viognier, and sweet sparkling wines. Fun fact-- Temecula was heavily planted with Chardonnay vines in the '90s but lost more than 200 acres of it due to Pierce's Disease back in '99. I'm happy to see that Temecula wineries are making a come back and producing some quality Chardonnay!!
