I wanted so badly for Cassie and Nick to be a thing but it seems to have ended before it could even begin. I mourn what could have happened and will continue to love windowshipping in my own way (my friend has joked that I should call it Broken Windowshipping) although now I will begin to look at the possibility of a relationship between Cassie and Jake.

If Nick was really killed off for good I'm wondering if the actor who played him did something to piss off the writers especially since according to fans of the books nothing even remotely like this happened in the books. Perhaps Jake is the writers way of fixing up Nick after goofing up his character? I heard that Nick was nothing compared to his book counterpart.
