Aster rolled his eyelights deep into his sockets. ‘The cause of the same fate’, yada-yada-yada... all rhetoric he’d heard when he was flung into the Void, all bullcrap he’d much sooner forget. The fact that this old--nay, ancient, he had to have been at least as old as his grandfather, if not older--man believed it didn’t surprise him, though. He let out a bitter sigh, leaning back further in his chair. It creaked, obviously whining about the skeleton’s pressure on it.
