Mooneye is a warrior of Windclan. Seen as a little odd by most his clanmates, he is one of Kestrelswoop's closest friends, and only crush. He seems to be able to see ghosts and has more than once predicted tragedy. Kestrelswoop thinks he's a sweet cat, and he really likes to spend time with him.
Mooneye isn't my oc, he's owned by a friend in our rp discord server.
Kestrelswoop, a brave warrior of Windclan. He kept getting assigned to be the mentor to young cats who were joining the clan, only for his first two apprentices to end up dying when he wasn't there to protect them. It has made him extremely protective over his third apprentice.
The apprentices are the OCs of some friends of mine from a roleplay server I'm in!
They're keeping you awake.
You're blaming yourself.
The horror of the incident.
It plagues you like nightmares.
Eternal.
Frog-Muncher Meets WindClan-Rat (short story)
âHey, frog-muncher!âÂ
Blackclover huffed and rolled his eyes. He didnât want to deal with thisâor anyoneâright now, but he wasnât one to take an insult lying down. âShove a rock up your tail,â he snarled a reply without slowing or looking around.
âTypical ShadowClanners, always so sensitive,â the voice went on. âI was only commenting on your breath.â
Blackclover stopped and glared over his shoulder. He spotted another tom splayed out comfortably on a wide, low-hanging tree branch. The shadows were especially dark here, and in the dappling shade, the catâs pelt colour was hard to identify. His eyes glowed sharp and yellow.Â
Blackclover scented the air inconspicuously. This tom was new. He didnât die recently, Blackclover considered that because really, who would die and then instantly go to bother someone? But it was fresh enough for his Clan scent to linger on the breeze. âTypical WindClan to be too cowardly to face their opponent head-on.â
The tom rose to his paws quickly. Blackclover felt a flicker of pleasure, seeing that the comment struck a nerve. The tom leaped from the branch and padded to Blackclover until they were nose-to-nose. Being a WindClan cat, the tom was rather lithe, but given Blackcloverâs certainâŠdiet in life, he had lost much of the weight that he would have been able to hold over him. Maybe he could have taken him on little over a year ago, but here and now, they looked to be an equal match.
âWhat now, frog-lover?â The tom challenged.Â
Blackclover was at the point where his blood had reached a boil, and he leaped, yowling his rage.
â--------
âOh!â Fleathistle looked up from where he had just planted a new seed in his garden.
Blackclover had not met him before, but he knew from talk that he was one of the most trustworthy cats to go to if you needed something treatedâhe was also incredibly surprised that wounds inflicted here could be treated, or that anyone was willing to heal them.
Blackcloverâs pelt was covered in deep scratches. They stung, and the stickiness of the blood holding clumps of his fur together was beginning to irritate him. Though his wounds were vicious and many, he had not lost the fight. He didnât win it either, not technically. They had rolled over and over, swinging at each other with claws splitting skin and blood spraying the air. The tom had run along the branches in the treesâBlackclover wasnât sure how or why he knew or to travel along them so neatly for a WindClan cat. Blackclover had followed. He was less graceful, but kept up fine, and then he caught the tom and pushedâand the tom fell from the tree into a fast-flowing river that both had been too furious to notice. It swept the annoying rat away, and though Blackclover wasnât sure if the tom drowned, he liked to believe it.
âLooks painful,â Fleathistle sympathized as he inspected the wounds.
âShould have seen the other cat,â Blackclover grunted.Â
He thought of the tomâs smug smile. Hopefully Iâll never have to see him again.
-------------------------
--Might change his eyes to green, depending on what will eventually match with his fur (when I now his fur colour).

Nettlefoot laughed at his cousinâs complaint.
âBunting, how are we supposed to get better in battle if we donât practice?â
Buntinghoot reluctantly nodded, peering out of the bushes at the two-legged black tom.
âThis nest is good for target practice," he admitted quietly.
Nettlefoot nodded in agreement.
âExactly! I mean, look at it this way. Thereâs no way heâll survive when the Twolegs ditch him. Weâre doing him a favour.â
Buntinghoot nodded reluctantly.
âI guess. Ok, letâs go.â
As the pair of toms pushed out of the bushes, they failed to notice the grey and white tom glaring at them from above.
And it would be that tom that would prove their undoing.

Story:
Feathercloud was always a good warrior. He would do everything he was asked of, went on dawn patrol every morning, gave first pickings to the elders, and most importantly, he did his best to make Orchidsmoke happy.
He knew how awful her life started. He wanted to protect her from ever feeling that pain again. He had thought that nothing could ever go wrong, everything was so perfect ⊠then one morning, instead of waking in his nest, he found himself in Starclan.Â
He watched everything that transpired after; and Feathercloud was there for both his mate's and his kits' trial. Despite knowing everything that they had done, Feathercloud still loved them with every inch of his being, and only grew to miss them more with every moon he was forced to live without them.
Feathercloud tried to figure out different ways to enter the Dark Forest, even asking other Starclan cats if they could help him; but they all ended up being a major bust since, of course, nobody wants to let him into the Dark Forest. He had never done anything wrong, just a poor, poor father missing his evil mate and kits.
He was kind of hesitanted, even with his determination to see his family again. Feathercloud decided that if they won't let him into the Dark Forest, then he'll make them chase him out.
Better yet, he'd ruin othersâ possible loves while he's at it. Why should they be allowed the chance of happiness that he had stolen from right beneath his paws?Â
It all started with a young, naive Thunderclan medicine cat named Robinflame. The healer had an unrequited crush on a warrior named Silktwist. Feathercloud appeared to Robinflame in a dream, promising that he would help him get Silktwist. Soon those supportive messages became insistent. Itâs okay for Robinflame to love, you only have one life. They just need to try harder. And harder. Itâs important Silktwist becomes one with them, Feathercloud, a Starclan warrior, should know. Silktwist is her other half, and if she doesnât share his feelings, does Robinflameâs own being even matter? She just canât see it. They need to make her see it.Â
Robinflame grew awfully obsessed with Silktwist, a horrible infatuation that ended in Robinflameâs death, killed by Silktwistâs brother after the healer murdered Silktwist to ensure that nobody else could have him.
Feathercloud didn't try to hide that he had a major hand in the murder, Robinflame even revealed so in his trial. But strangely enough, the other Starclan cats didn't seem to care!Â
Feathercloud was confused, and decided that perhaps he needed more proof.
Second was Badgerhear, head over heals for Fawnstep; then Rabbitwhisker with a crush on Quailcry; and on and on it went. The cats began to blur together for Feathercloud, only some sticking out as bizzare, like that one cat he convinced to murder those they thought were in love with their crush, only for their crush to turn out to also be a murderer. Those two became mates after that. Feathercloud still feels weird about it.
The continued uncaringness of Starclan fueled Feathercloudâs increasing desperation.
He coerced Ashfur into becoming worse and worse in his obsession with Squirrelflight (not that he had to do much). And where does Ashfur end up after he was killed? In Starclan! At this point, Feathercloud began to wonder if Starclan were messing with him, or if they were just a bunch of brainless idiots.
He messed with Bumblestripe and Finleap a bit, but didnât make them do much outside of acting creepy and pushy toward their respective love interests, Dovewing an Twigbrance.
It wasnât until the incident with Ashfurâs possession did Starclan question allowing him into Starclan, and truly paid attention to Feathercloudâs actions.
At last, Feathercloud would be with Orchidsmoke again. Their kits had since faded, a fact that caused his heart to ache so painfully he thought he would die again, but he could stand it. Because he was finally with his love.Â

Spoiler warning: this story is based on the subplot of The Orphanage
--
The second Parsleykit entered the world, Dappleflint felt an overpowering love that could have had her bouncing on her feet seconds after his birth. Her purrs practically shook the nursery, and she would do nothing but stare as he nursed and slept.
So overwhelmed with love for her kit, it hadnât registered that her son looked different, and she didnât understand why cats who came to visit would give him strange looks.Â
They were being dramatic, she knew. Sure, the right side of his face was underdeveloped, his eye hidden beneath a layer of skin, and his ear shriveled and sunken in, but it was just a face! If they heard his voice, listened to his adorable snores or the way he told her that he loved her, they would never think about his peculiar face again.
The adults were smart enough to whisper out of Dappleflintâs earshot, but kits werenât so kind. There were two litters born close to Parsleykit, one only a moon older than him, and the other half a moon younger.Â
They refused to play with Parsleykit, and when they were pressured to, they would use games to tease him.Â
Dappleflint learned to never take her eyes off of her son, as she had to protect him from the other kits many times. Once, in the few times she had rested her eyes, he ran from the camp. Following his trail, she found him by the stream in a abandoned rabbit burrow, hiding from the others.
Upset over his face, he begged her to help him cover it. Dappleflint hated that her son wanted to hide his face, but she couldnât stand to see him suffering. Maybe if they couldnât see the deformed part of him, they wouldnât tease him. So she wrapped the right side of his face with leaves.Â
It seemed to have worked, the kits were nicer. Exhausted from watching Parsleykit for practically every second of everyday for three moons, she felt she could finally rest.
She would regret that choice until her very last moon and beyond. Awakened by thunder, she woke and found her son missing. Panicking, she searched all around the camp until one of the guilty kits told her what had happened.
They wanted to play a prank on Parsleykit, and took him out of the camp with them to âexplore.â In reality, it was a trick to get him alone so that Dappleflint couldnât punish them when they forcibly took off his leaves.
Embarrassed, Parsleykit had run away to hide. Furious and worried, Dappleflint darted from the camp, racing across the moor so quickly, she practically flew across the grass. She knew where to look, her heart flipping in her chest.Â
Of course she was afraid a fox or other predator would get him, but her main worry was the rain. It had been raining non-stop for the quarter-moon, and if Parsleykit hid away by the stream....
Her worst nightmare was confirmed.Â
With his face uncovered, Parsleykit hid away in the abandoned rabbitâs burrow, which quickly flooded with water. Parsleykit, her son, her light, had drowned.
They had killed him.
Finding out he had died, they were distraught, but whether or not they felt guilty didnât matter. They killed her son!
They never treated him as an equal, always picking on him figuratively and literally. Not only did they ruin his life, but they had to take it as well! He died alone, away from camp and his mother, probably crying and terrified!Â
He might have lived if they had spoken up the second he ran away, but they kept silent for fear of getting in trouble. One kit of the six spoke up, just one!
Dappleflint couldnât let it go. She would kill them. She would make them suffer, as he did, afraid and away from their mothers.Â
She took them out of the camp to âexplore,â the same trick they had used on Parsleykit. It was an adventure, traveling over the hills and across tussocks. When they were all tired, she gave them a rabbit as a gift for doing such a good job, keeping up along the land with a warrior.
She watched with dark satisfaction as they writhed and coughed. There was no joy as she buried their bodies, only the feeling of a mission accomplished.Â
Her secret lasted well into her senior days.Â
One day, the bodies were uncovered. Dappleflint wasnât sure how, but once they were, the warrior who uncovered them, Lichenpool, knew Dappleflintâs secret. Enraged by the horrible act, she chased Dappleflint across the border, and onto the farm where the she-cat was caught beneath the paws of a field monster.
Additional Information:
--I HIGHLY recommend watching The Orphanage (2007). Like it says above, this is only the subplot. The main plot is so good, especially if you donât know the twist (which I sadly did before going in) (really the twist is so good and so heart-wrenching). Itâs in another language (Spanish), but Iâm sure you can watch it with subtitles somewhere.
--Hootkit and Cinderkit were in the oldest litter, while Antkit and Flarekit just behind them, and Lavenderkit, and Smallkit were the younger one.
--Iâm thinking maybe the kits were lost spirits or something (or just wanted justice) and lead to their bodies. Thatâs why Lichenpool knew who had killed them even though the bodies themselves would have little to no evidence. Maybe she had a vision.
EDIT: she was possibly born the day the kits died, explaining her connection.
