Diving into Wind Deep

So far, I’m really enjoying this event. I had a great time with Void Singer and I hear Circus Night was pretty dope, too. In these events, you have to first take a fun personality quiz to determine for which suit you will get 50% off. There are 4 questions in the Wind Deep Event Quiz and though you can take the quiz as many times as you like (until you get 50% off the suit you want!), for some reason I pulled Wind Deep Legend 5 times so I decided to trust Fate. Lo and behold, Fate betrayed me. Astral Islets is actually 2 Deep Pearls more expensive than Wind Deep Legend according to my calculations (even though it appears to be the other way around lol! Quick, someone check my math!).

For this post, I want to add two things: costs to collect each suit and the suits I used to trigger the Wind Abyss Legend Effect thing. As always, please note that this post may be updated often to make room for new information. Check back in every so often if interested!

Costs for Collecting Astral Islets and Wind Deep Legend

According to my (often misguided so do check me) calculations, the costs to complete each suit are as follows:

Wind Deep Legend Reg: 2696 Deep Pearls

Wind Deep Legend 50%: 1346 Deep Pearls

Astral Islets Reg: 2698 Deep Pearls

Astral Islets 50%: ~1349 Deep Pearls (estimated by dividing reg cost by 2 lol! If you have 50% off, let me know the correct cost if you would!) EDITED TO NOTE: Astral Islets is 1347 Deep Pearls at half off. Thank you so much @snowsoar

The max #of free Deep Pearls you can get per stage per day (with 5 free attempts each day) is 30. NOTE: failing a stage = 1 Lost Attempt but there is a workaround to ensure you don’t lose an attempt.

Wind Abyss Effect= 6 Deep Pearls

S score= 5

A score= 3

B score= 2

C score= 1

F score= 0

The max # of free Deep Pearls you can get each day is 150, so with a 7 day event you can earn 1050 Free Deep Pearls.

To reset 5 attempts use 30 diamonds. Depending on your score, 30 diamonds = 5-30 Deep Pearls (assuming you don’t fail a stage), so only reset with diamonds if you have S score (for 25 Deep Pearls) or Wind Abyss Effect (30 Deep Pearls)!

In order to gain one whole set, you’ll need to spend at least 1648 diamonds for a regular set and ~300 diamonds for a half off set (these #s INCLUDE free Deep Pearls). It’s really not bad! Cheaper than Tengu, y’all lol!

Notes on Triggering Wind Abyss Effect

The last two pictures above are the suits I used to trigger the Wind Abyss Legend Effect. Once more with feeling, PLEASE USE THIS GUIDE FROM LOVE LILY DRESS UP QUEEN to help you manipulate your own wardrobes because we probs don’t have exactly the same things. Some of the things pictured above are no longer available (like the Stage 2 Makeup and Ears which I forgot to add oops!) but I did try my best to use things you can still gather up now (literally JUST noticed I used stuff that’s not available and don’t feel like reworking that photo doh lol!). Just replace what you don’t have with something of similar or target attributes OR USE THE GUIDE. THE GUIDE IS YOUR FRIEND I PROMISE.

Some tips for triggering Wind Abyss Effect, though:

Pay attention to the range you have to be in to trigger the effect. When you tap a stage, and it gives you that brief overview, READ the overview. The numbers are there or in the guide I know you’re using.

If you wear the basics, use your skills. You can wear a basic look with all the right attributes like I did in Stage 1 and still come out a G if you use those skills though and use them well.

If you do the most, don’t use your skills. In Stage 3 I did have to use a few skills believe it or not, but NOT TOO MANY. She is extra that one (the handheld almost overdid it lol!). In Stage 4, though? With a background AND foreground, I just sat back and relaxed. I won the match no prob (cause almost everything was tagged “European” SEE THE GUIDE), and hit the abyss without breaking a sweat.

If you use a full suit, be aware of how your score’s doing. I tried Golden Sunshine in Stage 1 and it just wasn’t working, no matter how “Traditional” it was tagged because it didn’t meet the attribute requirements, see? But in Stage 5, how many gorgeous, sexy, lively “Swordsman” suits do you have? ‘Cause maybe I have 2 or 3. LOL! I used Angica’s Dream (which you can craft now and get sth from Momo starting tomorrow *wink wink*) and though she was kicking this girl’s butt, right, when I used skills to win, I got a basic B. After checking the range again, though, I realized I didn’t even need an S score. I only needed to beat her by 5K which is basically nothing. No skills and we triggered that Wind Abyss, Baby! It’s all about manipulating your sets and monitoring the score until you’re in the hot spot, see?
