Mike sighs. It's been so hard lately to make Will talk. He has always thought he was the party leader, the one who keeps his friends together, but he's not sure it's true anymore. It feels like he can't help any of them anymore. Soon, the Byers will move to Lenora, bringing El with them in the process. It's hard for Mike. He thinks it's unfair. He wishes El could stay at his home instead, but he also wishes the Byers won't leave. It's not because he has argued a few times with Will lately that he wants to lose his best friend. Things won't be the same in Hawkins without El and Will. And there's also the fact that Max has been isolating herself lately. Mike just can't keep his friends together, no matter how much he would want to.
And now Will is being cryptic about whatever that's going on on his mind. Mike scratches his neck. He can't force him to talk, of course. Even if he wishes he could make things better. "Will, please, talk to me. Or to Lucas, or to Dustin. Anyone, but don't keep everything bottled up." Of course Mike isn't the type to talk much when he doesn't feel well, but he's not the one they're talking about right now.
