Parallels: Tara and Kennedy standing up for Willow.

#buffy the vampire slayer #tillow #willowkennedy #-am probably murdered by the fandom for this parallel as everyone hates kennedy. but oh well-#so i started out making this on microsoft paint. because i didn't feel like digging out my broken laptop to use sony vegas. but then paint #got stupid. and wouldn't let me change the color of the text for tara's dialogue. so i had to get it out anyway. so that's why tara's maybe #looks different #and now i kind of wish i'd used it for all of it. but i'm too lazy to redo the parts i already did. also i messed up and willow said 'we'#need a barrier instead of 'you'. but paint is still being dumb and won't let me fix it. alas #btvs #buffy #willow rosenberg #and it's rona who says 'try?!' even though it might not look like it #tara maclay #kennedy

This was another arc I liked in the comics: Willow thinking that she actually chose Buffy over Tara, somewhat (by accident): that she and Tara were happy, of course, and easily could have gotten over the loss of Buffy and left it alone. But Willow brought Buffy back--going against the laws of nature, of course--and Willow thinks as a consequence to that, that’s part of the reason Tara was murdered.

So, I'm probably going to make a full review about my thoughts on the final book in Kendare Blake's "In Every Generation" series later (the book was called "Against the Darkness")...

But right now, I just feel the need to mention how nice it is that this is probably one of the few things that exists that treats Kennedy well (Vi actually turns evil for a bit in this series, which is surprising because I've never seen anyone give Vi that kind of treatment [especially over Kennedy]. But she turns it around in the end).

You'd probably say, "Of course it has to treat Kennedy well. It's an officially licensed thing." But so was "Chosen" by Kiersten White. And that book had Buffy calling Kennedy a bitch in it:(

Even though Willow and Kennedy have broken up by the time this series is taking place, Kennedy still calls Willow "goddess." It's cute. And Kennedy is quite the badass.
