- dr malone (as of the bbc show. though i think dr malone reads so much like a lesbian in the books themselves that i was GENUINELY shocked when it was revealed she stopped being a nun for a Man and not a Woman)

- princess cantacuzino (shout out to unrequited love between two people who are IN A RELATIONSHIP)
- whats his fuck ass. bonneville. the pne thats not gerard. his son. the one whos gay as fuckaOLIVIER. OLIVIER BONNEVILLE. i know hes canonically had sex with women but hes also so obsessed with attention fron older men that the book outright SAYS it like TWICE. hes either a misogynistic gay man (see: how he talks about lyra and that girl he hooked up with) or the worlds FUNNIEST bisexual
- marcel delamare. philip pullman made that guy so gay on accident that even the book was like "we cant convincingly tell you he isnt gay" like the quite is literally "and it was assumed he was not homosexual" like damn. 0 confidence.

i feel like im forgetting an obvious gay characfer in hdm tbh . so to make up for it ill also say that i think lee scoresby and iorek byrnison had something fascinating going on. I think that cowboy and that bear (literally a talking polar bear man) were just a little too eager to cuddle in that hot air balloon idk man
