how do you feel about playing high notes? like. on the staff b to above the staff b? because i hate doing it on regular clarinet but i love playing those notes on bass.. they sound so good... but how do you feel about it?
I love hearing the high notes played on the BC!!! When I played Bflat clarinet, I had troubles playing the upper register and that kind of went along with when I started playing BC too. Since most of my music doesn’t have upper register stuff, I am waaay out of practice on that range. BUT I’ve been trying really hard not to fake my way through high parts in band lately and practicing them. I tell ya, my new ligature helps out with that a lot!
