Face placed against the glass, draconic tail wagging slowly. He looked like the devil on the body of a irish man. His accent strong as serpentine eyes look in awe at the small book store.

James didn’t miss the grimace. He couldn’t, not when breakfast at Merl’s should be met with nothing but excitement and a sprint towards the door. “An older couple tries to chat us up and I promise to tell ‘em to fuck off. Pinkie promise it even if ‘ya need it,” he offered, outstretching his hand, pinkie finger extended. Not many older witches and wizards got it, but this was just nearly secondary to the Unbreakable Vow. “What?” he responded, word blurting out shortly after her own. Unsure, he brought the collar of his shirt up to his nose and sniffed. Fine. “I mean… think I’m good, ‘less you got any complaints.”

Deja vu... that’s the word Cynthia would use for this place. She remembered most everything from her last visit to Hive City, though certain details were still... muddy.

Despite all of the madness, Cynthia remembered her capture being somewhat pleasant. It was all thanks to other Trainers from her world, who supported each other through thick and thin from the very beginning.

So seeing another Trainer she knew from the getgo definitely invoked feelings of deja vu.

Eddie only didn’t like cooking for just herself. It was either huge platters of food that covered every counter in her kitchen, or it was eating out. Sitting at the counter she mumbles a thank you as she sips on her coffee and tries to figure out how to get the perfect bite of potatoes, egg and sausage onto her fork. She noticed the detective walk in and sighed, hoping he wasn’t about to ask any questions. There weren’t any witnesses she knew of to them shooting up the Rogue’s safe house... but he was a detective and it was his job to ask questions. Lame job, but his choice. Was a detective like a private eye? In old movies they called them ‘dicks’. So... it could be that he was Dick Willy. Eddie snorted in barely suppressed laughter as she sipped her coffee. 

"Oh, for fucks sake! Not you too, Will?" Damien slurred, crushing the empty beer can he was holding. It was a rather fine evening in Archimedes, perfect for getting absolutely smashed, when Damien ran into the four-eyed mage.

It's raining commanders, because there was no way that within a span of a week he should just by coincidence run into Lotus, Lucid, and now Will. What was his last name again, something that sounded like 'anus'?

Maybe it was all part of the Black Mage's plan, considering he was literally behind everything that happened in Maple World for hundreds of years. Maybe this was what he meant by a 'new world' or whatever the hell he was talking about, not like Damien ever paid much attention to anything his boss wanted in the first place.
