Sorry for butting in, but it sounds like you’re demisexual. In other words, you don’t form sexual attraction until you’ve created emotional bonds. Not like a noble choice. You seriously have ZERO sexual desire with any gender until after bonding, regardless of gender. Since you’ve never had that bond, maybe you’re simply asexual. Sex is fine, but it’s not a goal or an interest. Like, my sister has never felt “lust” or wanted sex, at all. She’s over 30 and a virgin.

This is the walk to Metz, hence the title, but this is before Eren accidentally left Levi behind. I tried to get Levi’s face to be in anguish while Eren, being doped up, is just smiling. I know that in the story Eren doesn’t grab the reins while walking, but he looked too stiff without it! I tried to get the details right, like both of them wearing the flat caps (I think that’s what they’re called), the suspenders Eren was wearing, even the blood on his pants! However, since there weren’t any specific colors for what they were wearing, what the horses looked like, or even the blanket Levi had, I just stuck with basic shades of brown (though I did add in some blues). I ended up not drawing too much mud and they aren’t wet from the drizzle, but I think it came out pretty good! Feel free to share this wherever, I’m just so excited to have drawn this for one of my favorite authors! Keep up the amazing work of all of your stories, whether they are fan fictions or actually published! Also, I was originally going to send this to you by DM however it says only those you follow back can, so I’ll just post it here for others to see too.

   The word yaoi itself is fine. It’s simply Japanese for gay love. It’s the stereotypes female mangaka created that fetishize homosexuality. One could argue that STRAIGHT LOVE is treated just as fictitiously. Definitely lesbian love, my husband has a huge fetish for that. So don’t beat yourself up on yaoi, bara, or BL.    

Don't be afraid to scrap a bad idea, start over, and make it into the RIGHT story for what it's meant to be, which isn't always what YOU want it to be. Let the characters lead you. Be flexible. Maybe those old fics will come back to life once you shift the characters onto the correct road.

With the first fic I started, it’s not that big of a deal. It’s really just for fun, random plots, ooc dialog, Freed stripping because of dares. Silly things like that. It’s just a practice mess of fanfiction-y goodness that I don’t try to stress about. The problem with that fic is I simply don’t KNOW where to take it. I guess my mind is tired of goofing off.

With the second I have a different problem. I know where I want to take it, but not how. The characters I have just WOULDN’T compromise in this situation, and I can’t find a good strong way to bring them together. I have a way to progress it but it’s boring and predictable. If I’m not having fun writing it, it wont be much fun to read. So I have done what I usually do when I’m stuck. Think about it, step away, and then think about it some more. I don’t have ‘fans’ yet but there are people asking when I will update. It would be nice to give them an answer. 

If I can write 5 chapters, I then determine how long it took me on average to write each chapter. If I managed a chapter in a few days, I will set updates to once a week. If it took me over a week for each chapter, I set once-a-month updates. Give yourself a good buffer, then try to stick to a schedule, using that buffer when life goes to crap... which ALWAYS happens.

And thank you for the advice. I have zero patients when it comes to producing things. Once I’m proud of it I want to post it because after that point I start tearing it down. I have two fanfictons up already that I’m NOT done with, but I haven’t updated in quite a while. I just don’t know where to take them. (One is 12 chapters, the other is like...three. Goodness I love them but I’m so very stuck)
