When I come up with new stories and characters I tend to put them in a "society is just like ours but this supernatural/mutant character is living in secret and shenanigans happen". Saves me from world building, and hiding and blending in are key elements to these stories. Any suggestions of what I can make of for the consequences of getting revealed, except for the obvious "your existence will be spread world wide or "the government will kidnap you for inspection/experiment/containment"?
I’m sorry, but this is a question about developing plot, and I do not answer questions about plot. This blog’s focus is on technical writing and narrative techniques.
I’d suggest reading books that deal with the kind of plot that you’re interested in, and asking blogs with a focus on plot development.

A few questions about your horns, if you don't mind. Anyone tried tugging on your horns believing that they're fake? Is it hollow inside, if not how heavy are they? Alas, ever got them stuck or hooked up onto other things?
