as promised, here’s the first republish of my sweetie fusion. 

first part: general bio, physique and likes and dislikes

Species: fusion, fox/rabbit hybrid

Fusion components: Robyn Heather Wilde and Hannah Marian Savage

Date of first fusion: 28th of june 20344, Canary Islands

Jobs:

-Robyn: mechanic

-Hannah: radio host and ballet dancer

-Rohan: fitness and MMA trainer

-common jobs: superhero leader, dimensional traveller and peacekeeper

Androgynous Jack catches Nick’s eye.  The suspenders are a nice touch.

Rabbits don’t actually go into heat but this is too silly of a premise to pass up on

it’s the climax snerk of gayer than usual week! here’s the ship that started it all - nick and jack, otherwise known as wildesavage. it’s not canon at all! because jack exists only in dreams...

as you probably know, jack savage is a character from an earlier draft of zootopia that was more about spies and high adventure than cops and racism. in fact, the name “jack savage” was just an earlier version of “nick wilde” - the surnames are synonyms, after all. while our lovable duo outright replaced jack, the above images - on the same page in the art book - make me wonder if he and nick, however briefly, shared the spotlight.

i also wonder how different the shipping in this fandom would be if we ended up with two male protagonists instead of the wildehopps partnership. if skye was also included (and in this hypothetical draft, i feel she would be), doubtless we’d have the usual palaver of a love triangle to deal with, too.

the final draft of zootopia is mercifully free of such nonsense - but some of you [ACTUAL SWEARWORD REDACTED] couldn’t let the beautiful peace last. jack received new life in fanon, but he came back twisted, resurrected through the dark necromancy of heterosexual garbage. i just want to see a stripy little bunny in a suit shoot bad guns with guns. s’that so much to ask? instead he was often cast as a one-dimensional rival for judy’s affections, a bland scarecrow to be heroically pushed over. terrible content.

luckily, not everyone saw him that way, and one-note depictions of jack are increasingly a hallmark of the earlier, clunkier stages of the fandom. there’s plenty of creative uses of the character, either harnessing the original concept’s potential or putting fun twists on it.

and as for the question of shipping... well, i know where i stand.
