Pegasus’ good eye widened at overhearing the agents’ conversation on the walkie-talkies.

“Is Ditto underwater!?” Did it at least transform into a water-type being? Please? A fish or somethign!? “Keep looking for Ditto as much as you can! I’m not letting my companion get hurt!”

And what was it about a light and the source of the waves?

Though Lucas was usually wary of creatures from Red and Leaf’s world - they were cleanly put together, but many were still chimera-like in nature - the Ditto at his feet only made him hesitate more than anything. Blob-like in shape, it seemed... friendly enough. Thoughtless, but moreso in the way a Whatever cuddled up to intruders without realizing they were only alerting others to their presence than anything actually violent. 

And so the boy leaned down to get a closer look, elbows resting on upturned knees, a slight hesitance to his smile. One could only hope it wasn’t there for any similar reasons. Not only that, but there was the question of just how had it ended up in his world... Maybe it’d wandered there, or had otherwise been accidentally left behind by either twin.

What is- wait. Wait, I know you.

Ruby doesn’t even need to consult his PokeDex in order to recognize the pink, little blob with the black eyes. He has seen it before. Transformed in different shapes, not just Pokemon but also a backpack, an umbrella, even a jacket. He has to admit, he has only ever seen one - Blue’s namely - but of course, as a Pokemon, there would be more of its kind.

“Roger that. Headed to the seventh floor,” Amelda murmurs as he makes his way towards the designated location. This was-- still probably not the weirdest thing he’s ever done, but he’s starting to think it might be in the top three. It started with going to KaibaCorp to make sure they weren’t mass-producing weapons (something he did on a semi-regular basis) ... now, he’s chasing a haunted potted plant through the vents. Because it ran away when he tried to shoot it. Guided by Kaiba. Seto Freaking Kaiba. 

Amelda jogs up the staircase, tapping the earpiece he had decided to use to communicate with Kaiba. “I think we’re way past the point of making sense,” he mutters into the earpiece. Sense flew out the window the instant a potted plant winked at the uptight brunet. Sense is in the next city over by now. 

Now, on the seventh floor, the redhead heaves a sigh and mutes the earpiece. This thing seems to be able to understand human speech-- at least well enough to know he was going to kill it. Now he’s going to try a new tactic... and he does not want Seto Kaiba to hear him. 

Ditto moved under the desk to find something else to examine, but it accidentally bumped into a house plant. Because it was so heavy, it didn't tip over from the small push, but it definitely made a sound when it re-balanced itself upright. Ditto flinched and Transformed!!! into a pebble, hoping it wasn't spotted.

He'd fallen asleep at his desk again, but the sound of the plant nearly falling over woke him up. Tonio jumped, spinning around to look around the room, but he couldn't see anything out of place.

"...Maybe it was just a dream," he muttered, turning his attention back to the papers he'd been reading before he fell asleep.

ditto does a sad melt squish. it looks like ditto has been rather tired lately... it even looks paler compared to before, and maybe a little bit stickier... dehydrated, perhaps?

“Aaah! Ditto!”

Ditto does NOT look good, and Pegasus tried to pick up the poor Pokemon, frowning. “Maybe I should take you to a doctor...or a Pokemon Center. Which one’s closer...?”
