My absolute top 3, Insect Glaive, Dual Blades, and Gunlance.

Insect Glaive is probably my favorite weapon out of any of them. I love the mobility, I love having a Little Friend that I can throw at monsters, and it’s the weapon that I use most often. It’s just so fun to leap over monsters and stay in the air so much, plus it’s wonderful for fighting bigger monsters.

If Glaive is my favorite, Dual Blades are a very, VERY close second. Wonderful mobility, satisfying moves, and a moveset that I find easily memorable. I am so guilty of stealing wounds when I play Dual Blades because I Can’t Help But Want To Spin.

Gunlance comes in at third because, despite playing it one(1) time, it’s just SO GOOD. It’s CINEMATIC. Walking through attacks, being a living wall, being damn near untouchable…OOOHHHH MY GOG it’s beautiful. A masterpiece of a weapon that I’m not exactly experienced with yet but already fully adore. I’m not usually a fan of the slower weapons or even just shielding weapons in general, but Gunlance has already earned a place in my favorite weapons. And don’t even get me started on the fucking explosions I LOOOOOOVE that shit. I need to get a blast Gunlance so bad I need my boomstick.
