“God, I’m so sorry..”

Whitney shook her head, genuine in her words as the pair took a stroll away from the recording studio for a bit; a much needed break from the hard work the band had been putting out over the past few hours. It was a beautiful day, the sun casting a golden hue over everything it touched— and the writer wouldn’t be surprised if a little tan appeared on her skin when she woke up the next morning.

Whitney let out a sharp breath, blotting her eyes with tissue after tissue while trying to calm herself down— she had the amazing opportunity to tag along and write for this really promising band….

And yet, there she was, sitting in her hotel room crying because of one stupid, uncalled for, sexist remark from one of the crew members of the venue; it really wasn’t anything that she hadn’t heard before, but for some reason, this time in particular really got to her. The sound of the man’s voice dug under her skin and made it crawl- she knew she just just keep her chin up and leave it be, but the brunette just couldn’t seem to shake it.

Finally getting herself to stop crying long enough to make sure her eyes were dry, there was a knock on the door- it made her jump out of her skin, and when she discovered that it was Graham on the other side, Whit sighed and her body language softened a bit. However, when he told her that he heard her crying- the girl let her head fall. Mostly out of embarrassment; she was a sensitive being, emotions and heart leading decisions with an iron fist- but she also hated when people caught her being vulnerable. Not that she was upset with him whatsoever, not at all- but the shyness and embarrassment was all over her face when she let him into the room.

“Oh- uh.. y-yeah, it’s nothing. Just… just not having a great day so far. Make yourself at home..”
