Day 2:
Segregation and Separate but Equal (Visit historical and present day segregated sites)
Be present at the hotel lobby by 8:30
The bus will leave by 9:00 and reach the Orlando International Airport around 9:30.
The flight from Orlando to Atlanta will take off at about 11:00am and by 11:30 we will be at the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport.
From there we will take bus rides across the city to many public facilities where racism used to be severe and still exists today. These places include schools, libraries, cafes, restaurants and so on. Presently, racism can still have its effect with the example of various schools holding segregated proms such as in Wilcox County High School.
After a few sites explored, we will reach the Hyatt Regency Atlanta Hotel by 6:00 pm
Tourists can relax and have some rest and get ready for a music show the hotel has to offer by 9:00 pm.
