   Steve was dating Natasha and wanted to spice things up in the bedroom a little bit. He loved Nat and wanted her to know. He was planning on telling her that he loved her. Steve was nervous. He was shy. Even with his girlfriend he was shy. Steve was planning a really romantic evening for Nat. He had purchased her some lingerie he wanted her to wear under the dress he bought.

While Nat was working with the trainees in the gym to get them battle ready Steve snuck into her room and laid the boxes on, he beds. He left a card telling her to put them on and meet him in the living room area by 7pm. Steve headed back to his room. He was shaking with how nervous he was. He didn’t know if Nat was going to freak out. He knew that when people got close to Nat and they told her they loved her she tended to push them away. It was her training from the Red Room Academy that had her always have her guard up. Steve wanted to be the one to let her bring her guard down. Steve decided to take a shower.

He was getting ready in his finest suit he owned. She was dressed in this beautiful blue suit that complimented his eyes. He wanted to look good for tonight. He even begged Tony to set him up with the fanciest restaurant in New York so he can spoil Nat. Tony had laughed but caught the sentiment and would do the same thing for Pepper. Steve had a ring box he picked up that had his mothers wedding band in it. He had his fathers wedding band at home. He wanted to do the right thing by Nat tonight. He had looked at the clock and noticed it was 5 till 7. Steve headed for the living room area.

When he arrives in the living room area, he saw Nat. She looked stunning. The red gown he had picked up suited her very well. She had even dyed her hair brown. Steve though she was the most beautiful woman in the world. When he looked at her time stopped.

“Hello Steve,” Nat chimed in.

“Hello Beautiful. Nat you look amazing,” Steve retorted at he walked closer grabbing her hand. Once their hands met, he spun her. When she faced him again, he dipped her as he gently kissed her.

“My, my my showman. Such a gentleman tonight Steve. What is all this for,” Nat asked.

“I can’t show my girl a good time. We have been fighting with beings from other planets I wanted to take you out and show you I appreciate spending time with you,” Steve smiled as he led her to the elevators. He held her hand as the rode the elevator down to the lobby. Steve had a limo waiting out front for them. Happy opened the door for them. Steve helped Nat get in the limo and then he climbed in behind her.

“You are being such a romantic today Steven. I am actually enjoying it. Normally I would hate it but with you its different.” Nat stated as he cuddled into Steve.

“Nat you had made me so happy. You have helped me acclimate to the new world when I woke up from being in the ice,” Steve smiled as he held Nat. Happy opened the door for them. Steve stepped out as he held his hand put for Nat. She was so beautiful tonight. They had some paparazzi that were taking photos but Steve didn’t care since he was utterly in love with Natasha.

“We have reservations. Let’s go have our dinner, doll.” Steve spoke so lovingly. Nat smiled and squeezed his hand as soon as they were seated and ordered their food.

“Why all of this Steve? Why all of this for me? “Nat was always curious as to why Steve showed big gestures with her.

“I want to show you how much you mean to me, Natalia. I don’t care about the red in your ledger. I care about how far you have come from that. The work you do now,” Steve explained. Nat looked away to her drink. Nat couldn’t believe Steve. He spoke to her like she didn’t kill people in her past. He treated her like a princess when she was a criminal. She wanted to show him that she wasn’t a good person. “Nat don’t start with the whole I am not a good person thing either. I am not a good person either Nat. We have both down some things we are not proud of. But since being with you it hurts less. I really feel like I am moving on.”

“Thank you, Steve. I needed this.” Nat looked at him with a loving gaze. Dessert came and it was delicious. Steve was going to tell her he needed to do it now.

Steve grabbed both of Nat’s hands, “Natalia, you have made me a better man than I was before I went into the ice. You have made me happy. When fighting by your side I know you have my six. I can see a future away from the fighting with you. I have fallen in love with you everyday a little bit more. I love you so damn much. You make my heart skip a beat when I see you. You have gotten me to open up like no one has before. You make me feel like I am on cloud 9. Natalia, I want to spend the rest of my life with you. Will you do me the honor and be my wife. Natalia will you marry me?”

Nat’s eyes began to water as she saw Steve down on one knee in front of her with a ring in front of her. “Yes, fuck Yes Steve. I will marry you.” She grabbed Steve’s cheeks and pulled him in for a kiss. Steve blushed. When they pulled away from the kiss. He took the ring out of the box and slid it onto her finger.

“That was my mom’s wedding ring. I want to take you home and show you how much I love you,” Steve whispered into Nat’s ear. Nat shivered as she took his hand.

“Let’s go home. So, you can show me handsome,” Nat retorted.

The soldier & the spy fell in love.
