Oh boy I guess I did didn’t I? >w<;;;;;
Ok ok.
So it was grade 6, so I must have been about 11 or 12. And it was like any other school day, we were outside for recess. That particular day were were having a game of tag.
There was this one girl who was an especially fast sprinter. She could outrun basically anyone I knew at the time. And it just so happened that she was it, and she had her sights set on me. And I was just all freaking out because even though I was running as fast as I could I knew she would catch me.
Then this idea came to me. I would try a fancy maneuver to get away from her. So I did a cartwheel. Correction, I attempted a high speed cartwheel. I don’t know why I thought that was a good idea. She ran into my foot, which I’m pretty sure must have felt like being kicked, and I landed directly on my shoulder. I didn’t know anything THAT BAD had happened at the time, but I knew something was wrong. And sure enough, when I got an X-ray done, my left collorbone was broken.
I had to spend the next few weeks wearing a sling. Sleeping on my back. Not so fun. Apparently a collarbone is one of the easiest bones to heal, though. So I guess breaking my collorbone was better than breaking any other bone. =/
Now you know. Laugh it up. >_<;
Spell check just asked me to change absolutely to absolutely. I think that may have been a diss...
