Afric wasn’t sure how good the senses were of a leopard or a skinwalker, but he showered and got changed in to some sweat pants and a gym top, not wanting Kaleb to smell anyone else on him as he walked towards the lounge with a smile. He knew they needed a conversation that was  probably going to have a few bumps and frustrations on both parts, but he hoped not. He would do his best to try and sooth the skinwalkers worries.

AFRIC: I should have asked earlier, but how do you feel about me bringing rentals home?

Afric said he’d come and see the slave again, and he kept to his word. He’d enjoyed the skinwalkers company, even if their views on the city differed, it was bound to happen when they were on opposite sides of the fence. They’d fought against each other in the war and had completely different upbringings. 

Stopping outside the halfbreed cell with a guard, waiting for him to unlock it before he smiled to Kaleb “I said I’d come, you ready for some food at my place?” He’d already found the hearts for the slave to eat, it was surprisingly easy to find human hearts in CrownPoint, especially when you owned a magic shop that had them in stock on a regular basis.
