The Jeweler would definitely like him, and he'd be intrigued by the car training. He'd want to push him limits, to see how far the conditioning goes. He'd be a bit sad that he's silent, but other than that, he'd find Bastet quite fun to play with.

Ok so Bastet is my boxboy OC. He's a platonic. And he's trained to act like a cat. He's not allowed to talk, unless specifically ordered to. And even then, he gets mild headaches.
After a while of staying with his owner, his owner - the CEO of a big company - makes a contract with another company in Europe, and has to travel a lot there. So he has to leave Bastet alone at home. That makes him get depressed and retreat into himself. His owner doesn't like that. So he hires a catsitter for him.
His first catsitter, Michael, is actually a sadistic bitch himself. He hurts Bastet in various ways, and outright rapes him. Even though Bastet's not a romantic. When Russels(Bastet's owner) finds out about this, he fires Michael.
The next catsitter he hires is a guy named Javier, one of Russels employees, in fact. He hires him because he trusts him. But what Russele doesn't know about Javier is that he's a pet lib guy, and he starts helping Bastet with deconditioning and all. And finally, after a couple of months, finally rescues him.
Fun fact: Bastet is the name of Egyptain goddess of cats :3

I will admit... As interesting as the concept is the BBU isn't... exactly my cup of tea for multiple reasons, but it makes me happy he gets help and gets deconditioned.
