I'm actually very interested if there is any change when we observe different Whumpees and how we perceive them and Whump itself
For me, I prefer male whumpees and I can't even say why. It's not as if I'm attracted to them more than female Whumpees & any other Whumpees (I'm AroAce), so idk why that became my preference π€π―π
An immortal/long life span character A rips off the mask from their enemy/secret ally/something else
The face of their long lost friend/lover/something else stares back at them
Character B, a complete mortal, has evaded death, cheated time, and, for better or for worse, came back into Character A's life
-Are they still friends? Are they now enemies?
-Did Character A even bothered to form deep bonds in the past when they knew they will outlive character B?
-Did character B thought the world of character A in the past?
-Did character B came back on their own free will? Are they controlled by someone? Do they even recognize Character A?
-Is there someone new in the spot near Character A where character B was before?
-What did character B sacrificed to come back? Was it worth it?

Final Fantasy XV-- Ignis whump fic recommendation
Behold, my favorite gen whump fic centered on Ignis, with a bit of physical whump for Gladio and a LOT of emotional whump for Gladio, Prompto, and Noct.
This might be so out of blue since this game is kinda old and idk if the fandom is still active, but I adore the boys... I only wish this fic had an additional chapter for more aftercare fluff π π€§
Also, this fic DOESN'T contain any major spoilers for the game-- so if you don't know what happens past, like chapter 10 in the game and DLC Ignis you are safe (I also have a lit of save whump Ignis fics pertaining to that LOL). Anywasy, enjoy π π π

Summary: During an encounter with MT troops, Ignis is shot. It's too bad nobody - including Ignis himself - exactly notices this until he passes out while driving, forcing Prompto to keep the car from crashing. Far from any kind of help and armed with a single healing potion, the other three are left with no choice but to get the bullet out themselves, without anesthetic. You know what I like? When there are two parallel scenes in a media and you can see how things changed for the character (for better or for worse):
1. Character A wakes up after being hurt and has to treat their wounds <--> Character A wakes up in a bed, surrounded by people they trust as their wounds get treated.
2. Character A celebrates their birthday alone <--> Character A celebrates their birthday surrounded by their new friends/family.
3. Character A fights alone and has to do anything they can to survive <--> Character A now fights in a group and doesn't have to watch their back all the time, because they trust their friends.
4. Character A doesn't care what wounds they get as long as they complete their mission/goal <--> Character A surrounded by people that make sure that they take care of themselves and don't see themselves as disposable.
5. Character A gets captured and has to get out by themselves <--> Character A gets captured and is saved by their friends.
