i guess that makes sense but i heard women were expected to shave their legs sometime in the 1800's as dresses started exposing more skin or whatever

So I have been living in a newish room for quite a while (like a year and a half) and I've been hella indecisive about paint colors and room things for a long, long time. (And I was sort of in denial about the fact that I am probably going to be stuck in my parents attic for a while, since college is fucking expensive) And I finally decided that the floor is gonna be black/metallic gold stencilled in some way because i fucking can and now I'm trying to pick wall colors and i literally do not fucking know.
I am really drawn to dark walls and really saturated colors. However, I have a low slanted ceiling. I don't particularly like the look of having the ceiling one color and the walls another because that really breaks up the space to me. IDK.
I know that a black/gold floor would look super glam with deep purple walls, but i also know that floor to ceiling purple paint will make my room feel like a cave.
Maybe this shows what a goddamn indecisive, nerd I am but I am really honestly considering pretty neutral walls so that my best friend (whoringmorgan) and I can have sort-of matching Gryffindor (me) and Slytherin beds (her).
I am honestly no closer to deciding what this room is gonna look like than I was when I moved up here. Any suggestions, oh wise followers?
